Cairn, Knockvologan: This cairn (first noted by OS in 1972) is situated on a slight knoll overlooking the N entrance to the Sound of Erraid, some 600m NW of Knockvologan farm-house. A roughly oval grass-covered stony mound, it measures about 16.5m by 14.5m and 1.0m high; the interior appears to have been disturbed by stone-robbing.
