(NM 2486 5888) Pile of Stones (NAT)

OS 1:10,000 map, (1977)

Cairn, Feisdlum: By the side of a patch of ground which was formerly under cultivation, about 330m N of Feisdlum, there is a substantial stony mound mesuring 6.5m by 5.5m and 1m in height. It seems likely that it is a prehistoric burial-cairn, rather than simply a heap of stones cleared from the adjacent field.

RCAHMS 1980, visited 1975.

Not found by OS 1:50,000 reviser

OS revision, May 1985.
