During the excavation of 2-28 Queen Street in 1973, a total of 36 pieces of flint of later mesolithic date were recovered from the street frontage and the midden area. These included: cores, two scrapers, an angle burin and waste flakes which have been deposited in Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museum.
