(NJ 8815 3280) Stone Circle (NR).

OS 6" map, (1959)

A small stone circle with a N-S diameter of 16ft [4.9m], none of the stones being of any conspicuous height. Several stones are missing from the east side.

F R Coles 1902.

A stone circle, generally as described by Coles (1902), comprising at least nine upright stones, the highest being 1.6m. The interior is now filled by field clearance stones.

Resurveyed at 1:2500.

Visited by OS (RL) 10 April 1972.

Scheduled as '4 Shethin Cottages, cairn 310m WNW of... the remains of a cairn... [surviving] as a ring of approximately twelve stones.'
