Clach-an-tuill-Pitlac (Bigla's Key Stone) is traditionally the hiding-place used by Bigla (Matilda) Cumin (NH91NW 4), to hide her keys when attending the church at Duthil, which she allegedly founded.

The stone is c. 3ft long and 2 1/2ft broad, lying flat on the ground and broken lengthways into two. Near the centre is a hole c 4" diameter bored through from each side. It is said to have been whole, and standing in 1859. Situated "in the woods which now cover the Garten Hills", (Mitchell and Drummond 1875) halfway between Drumuille and Duthil (NSA 1845).

A Mitchell and J Drummond 1875; New Statistical Account (NSA) 1845.

Unable to locate this stone, area now covered by a dense plantation.

Visited by OS (R L) 2 November 1966.
