NH59NW 8 c. 51 98.

The name Achnahanat (Easter NH 519 985, Wester NH 512 982 and Achnahanat Burn, NH 515 972) suggests the existence of an early ecclesiastical foundation (W J Watson 1926) and its proximity to St Colman's Chapel (NH59NW 3) comprises a situation apparently similar to examples quoted by MacDonald (A MacDonald 1973) where the early church appears to have moved, possibly in the 9th or 10th c's, from its original site, the Annaid, to another a short distance away.

No further information.

Visited by OS (A A) 26 September 1973.
