(Location cited as NG 487 298). Old Bridge: Sligachan. Built c. 1810-18: engineer, Thomas Telford. A three-span rubble bridge, with a pronounced hump. The segmental arches are of unequal size, and there are triangular cutwaters. Disused, superseded by a single concrete arch, faced in stone (NG42NE 2).

This bridge carries the former line of the A87(T) public road over the River Sligachan a short distance above its debouchment into the head of Loch Sligachan, and to the E of the Sligachan Hotel (NG42NE 6). The successor and present New Bridge (NG42NE 2) is situated adjacent to the N.
