NF60SE 19 6529 0148.

(NF 6529 0148) Probable chambered cairn buried in sand 30 yards north of the northern standing stone (NF60SE 10) and 80 yards from the road; four stones proturding; c. 60ft diameter.

OS 6"map annotated by A L F Rivet (assistent archaeology officer)

A large oval grass-covered mound of sand. It measures 24.5m NE-SW by 18.0m transversely and has a maximum height, on its west side, of 1.7m. Three large stones protrude on the west side but there are no other indications of it being a cairn.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS (W D J) 15 May 1965.
