An Advanced Chain Home Radar Station is situated to the W of the B8065 road from Barrapol to Sandaig. The remains of the Radar Station are visible on RAF vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK34, 3376-3377, flown 27 April 1946), as one hut and three hut bases.

The footings of two buildings are shown at this location on the current OS 1:2500 scale digital map.
