NC96SE 15 9764 6370.

At NC 9764 6370 there is a small cairn 6.0m in diameter and 0.5m high. On the SW periphery a kerb about 0.2m high is clearly visible, and although there is no visual evidence, this would appear to be a burial cairn.

(Visible on RAF air photographs 106G/Scot/UK 75: 4363-4 (flown 1946).

Surveyed at 1:2500.

A cairn as described, completely overgrown with whin but for the S sector.

The features of this cairn, noted during a pre-afforestation survey of Sandside Estate, is completely overgrown with gorse.
