At NC 9511 6436, on a N-facing slope, is a heather and turf-covered cairn, 9.5m in diameter and 0.6m high. One or two earthfast stones on the line of the periphery are probably kerb stones. In the disturbed centre, the side-slab of a cist, 1.1m long and aligned E-W, protrudes

to 0.1m.

Surveyed at 1:2500.

Visited by OS (J M) 19 August 1981.

This cairn, noted during a pre-afforestation survey of Sandside Estate, measures 9.5m in diameter and stands up to 0.6m in height. A side-slab of a cist is visible in the centre.
