Centred at NC 925 206, in elevated moorland open to the S is a dozen or so stony mounds of the type usually identi- fied with hut-circle field clearance. The heaps extend over about four hectares.

About 450 metres to the SE, in a similar situation, is an area of narrow-rig cultivation previously noted by Davidson.
