NC85SE 14 8972 5460.

At NC 8972 5460, on a natural shelf, is a roughly circular, turf-covered burnt mound, 10.5m in diameter and 0.6m high, which contains a central hollow 2.5m across and 0.4m deep. The content of earth and small friable stones is exposed in rabbit scrapes, as well as fragments of charcoal. There are old watercourses on each side of the mound and one, possibly two hut circles occur some 80.0m to the south. (See NC85SE 5).

Surveyed at 1/10,000.
