NC60NW 21 6139 0721.

At NC 6139 0721 adjacent to a virtually dried up natural water course is a burnt mound. The mound, which is ill-defined, is sub oval, turf and heather covered and measures about 9.0m NNW-SSE by 6.0m and 0.9m high. The upper surface is undulating. Animal rubbing has revealed the contents of the upper few inches, and ad-mixture of earth and small stones some of which are friable. Fragments of charcoal are also present.
