OS 6" map, Orkney, 2nd ed.,(1900).

The site is marked by a scatter of broken stonework and a change in the vegetation. The area involved is small and the evidence does not suggest either a large or fortified structure.

RCAHMS 1946.

The site is as described by the Commission. No evidence was encountered to suggest the nature of the structure.

Visited by OS (RL) 27 May 1967.

'The Orcadian' describes this site in 1909.
