The site of a four gun heavy anti-aircraft battery now lies within what is depicted on the OS 1:10000 map (1980) as a small forestry plantation.

Information from RCAHMS (DE) July 1997

Nothing survives of this World War II heavy anti-aircraft battery which was situated on the plateau below the Whinhill Golf Club buildings.
