OS 6" map, Shetland, 2nd ed., (1902).
This stone 2.8m high, 0.2m thick and 1.3m wide at the base stands in the centre of the slight remains of a circular feature at HU 4899 4285. Beside it is a smaller earthfast recumbent stone 0.9m long by 0.4m wide by 0.5m high, with several small packing stones nearby. The origin or use is not known locally.
Re-surveyed at 1/2500.
