The group of huts is visible on vertical air photographs taken in 1946 (CPE/Scot/UK 191, 4049-4050, flown 10 October 1946).

At least eight huts can be seen on the photographs, some of which are of the pitched roof type. The site of these huts is now occupied by a caravan park.

Another group of three huts can also be seen on what is now the site of the School, Library ,Museum and Territorial Army Centre.
