NT 113 778 A watching brief was carried out 12 May–29 September 2009 on site investigation works associated with the construction of a proposed road access route for the Forth Replacement Crossing (south side). A total of 111 machine excavated test pits and six hand-excavated boreholes were monitored. No significant archaeological remains were discovered.
