Aerial photography has recorded an area of rig-and-furrow cultivation in rough pasture 150m SSE of Kildavannan Cottages. The individual rigs are orientated NNW and SSE. An area of rig, with the same dimensions and orientation, is depicted here on May's estate of c1780.
