Elegant classical white sandstone country house with prominent Ionic columned porch and small wings guarded by stone lions. Behind a screen wall, entered through an arch surmounted by a sculpted eagle, is a stable yard and carriage house with a pigeon loft; in front, a simple grassed garden. Beyond the vestibule, a stone stair and cast-iron balustrade lead up from the hall decorated with elaborate coffered and corniced ceilings and a Corinthian columned screen.
