NT 1294 7828 A watching brief was undertaken on all groundworks as part of a programme of archaeological works between August 2004 and April 2005, including the recording of four sections of boundary wall, prior to the residential development of the site. Seven substantial sandstone walls were revealed, as well as a truncated well and a buried garden soil. The features are of probable late 18th-to mid-19th-century date and are either garden features or foundations related to the buildings constructed here during the mid-19th century.
