This shop has fittings dating from the 1890s. It was originally a veterinary pharmacy becoming a general pharmacy until it became a pet supply retailer in the 1970s. This premises was recorded photographically for the national Record of the Historic Environment due to the now rare late 19th century cabinetry in the shop. The owner was wishing to retire.
