NR 76376 54484 (centred on) A desk-based assessment and walkover survey were undertaken, June 2017, over a parcel of land at Talatoll recorded 46 features.

NR 77402 53297 – Linear bank, oriented N/S. 2m wide and up to 0.5m high. On OS map.

NR 77630 53317 – Linear bank, oriented E/W, runs from stone wall down to the burn. 1m wide and 0.3m high.

NR 77770 53514 – Curvilinear bank, shown on map. 2m wide and up to

0.3m high. Oriented E/W ends at NR 77843 53617.

NR 77852 53625 – Possible structure comprising low earthen and stone walls up to 2m wide and 0.5m high, 7 x 8m. At location of former settlement.

NR 77869 53628 – Possible structure, 6 x 5m with low irregular earthen and stone walls, forms oval, appears to be associated with low stone bank which runs S from the structure and then curves around to the N following edge of rocky outcrop. This structure lies c15m NE of NR 77852 53625.

NR 78015 53530 – Earthen and stone bank, 1m wide and up to 0.4m high. Oriented NE/SW, runs around base of rocky outcrop/knoll.

NR 77981 53669 – Linear bank, 2m wide and 0.5m high.

Oriented E/W. Includes possible attached, small enclosures at NR 78005 53681.

NR 78080 53784 – Whole bracken covered area with remains of lazy bed cultivation.

NR 77542 53621 – Earthen and stone bank, up to 0.75m high and 1.5m wide. Oriented N/S, short length, runs up to wall and down to burn.

NR 77725 53548 – Low stone wall, max 0.3m high and 0.5m wide. Runs to NR 77729 53505.

NR 76783 53903 – Stone and earthen bank, oriented NNW/ SSE, by burn and runs down to loch, then up the hill in NW direction.

NR 76785 53761 – Linear bank, oriented E/W. 2m wide and 1m high. Runs towards Talatoll and ends at burn.

NR 77118 53439 – Large earthen and stone bank, associated with former drainage. 0.75m high and 2m wide. Oriented NE/SW.

NR 76329 53712 – Earthen bank, on map.

NR 75658 53919 – Former track, on 1st Edition OS map.

NR 74794 54430 – Earthen and stone bank oriented N/S,

up to 1.4m wide and 0.5m high. Runs from burn up the hill and then curves around and back down the hill and heads around the base of the hill towards the farm. Cut by the track.

NR 75000 54686 – Large cobble field clearance cairn, set on edge of rocky outcrop. 8 x 3m in size.

NR 74963 54752 – Earthen and stone bank, runs along the side of a burn before veering off. Oriented SSW/NNE.

NR 75190 54787 Cobble track, associated with crossing a small burn/wet area, c11m visible, 0.5m wide. Oriented N/S.

NR 75422 54773 – Large bank, probably associated with drainage. Earthen and stone. Oriented N/S.

NR 75432 54797 – Earthen and stone bank, runs length of the small glen. Associated with defunct drain. Oriented E/W, up to 0.5m high and 1.2m wide.

NR 75539 54989 – Large quarry, and associated track.

NR 75370 54852 – Large bank probably associated with drainage. 1m high and 2.5m wide. Oriented N/S.

NR 75624 55281 – Small field clearance cairn, 1 x 1.5m in grazed field.

NR 76478 53694 – Settlement (Talatoll Farm) comprising sheepfold, house and barn. Structures as visible 20th century. Structure shown on 1st Edition OS map at NR 76546 53740, not visible on the ground.

NR 76462 53476 – Earthen and stone bank, running to boundary, probably associated with drainage.

NR 76584 53894 – Earthen and stone bank.

NR 76629 53941 – Earthen and stone bank.

NR 76646 53980 – Earthen and stone bank.

NR 75600 54200 – Penannular soil mark. Nothing visible on the ground.

NR 75300 53600 – Area of poorly preserved cultivation marks, 20 x 30m.

NR 77780 54030 – Crannog – A single stone is visible in the water.
