NR 76376 54484 (centred on) A desk-based assessment and walkover survey were undertaken, June 2017, over a parcel of land at Talatoll recorded 46 features.

NR 77402 53297 – Linear bank, oriented N/S. 2m wide and up to 0.5m high. On OS map.

NR 77630 53317 – Linear bank, oriented E/W, runs from stone wall down to the burn. 1m wide and 0.3m high.

NR 77770 53514 – Curvilinear bank, shown on map. 2m wide and up to

0.3m high. Oriented E/W ends at NR 77843 53617.

NR 77852 53625 – Possible structure comprising low earthen and stone walls up to 2m wide and 0.5m high, 7 x 8m. At location of former settlement.

NR 77869 53628 – Possible structure, 6 x 5m with low irregular earthen and stone walls, forms oval, appears to be associated with low stone bank which runs S from the structure and then curves around to the N following edge of rocky outcrop. This structure lies c15m NE of NR 77852 53625.

NR 78015 53530 – Earthen and stone bank, 1m wide and up to 0.4m high. Oriented NE/SW, runs around base of rocky outcrop/knoll.

NR 77981 53669 – Linear bank, 2m wide and 0.5m high.

Oriented E/W. Includes possible attached, small enclosures at NR 78005 53681.

NR 78080 53784 – Whole bracken covered area with remains of lazy bed cultivation.

NR 77118 53439 – Large earthen and stone bank, associated with former drainage. 0.75m high and 2m wide. Oriented NE/SW.

up to 1.4m wide and 0.5m high. Runs from burn up the hill and then curves around and back down the hill and heads around the base of the hill towards the farm. Cut by the track.

NR 74963 54752 – Earthen and stone bank, runs along the side of a burn before veering off. Oriented SSW/NNE.
