Cut down tenement, latterly in use as a public house, one of two sites in Glasgow reputed(1) to be the birthplace of John A Macdonald, Canada's first Prime Minister.

The building has been externally photographed ahead of demolition - the cleared site to be incorporated into the Richard Murphy Architects designed Candleriggs Quarter, a mixed-use development.
