Present location: in situ on a low hill in Bennachie Forest.

Evidence for discovery: found in 1994 during tree-felling operations.

Present condition: good.

Description

This rectilinear, almost pillow-shaped, slab bears an incised simple equal-armed cross, placed centrally on one broad surface. Incised along the top edges of the slab at both ends are short ogham inscriptions.

Date: seventh or eighth century.
