Stone type: red granite

Place of discovery: NJ 4992 2649

Present location: in a wooden shelter in the kirkyard car-park.

Evidence for discovery: found re-used in the foundations of the old church during demolition in 1878.

Present condition: weathered and the upper part of the slab is missing.

Description

Three symbols are incised on one broad face: the double disc and Z-rod, of which only the lower part of one disc and a terminal survive, above a crescent and V-rod, above a mirror with double-disc shaped handle.

Date: seventh century.
