A large glacial eratic boulder apparently set into the ground is located 53 metres south-west of 3 Venchen Farm Cottages and beside the B6352. The stone was communicated to the SBC HER by a member of the Yetholm History Society following the removal of a surrounding hedge in February 2017. The individual mentioned that local people had known about the stone for some time. There is no indication of the stone on historic mapping, although buildings had been located nearby from the 1850s through the middle of the 20th century. There is no further information on when the stone may have been erected or what function it had.
