Evidence for discovery: recorded on Cross Sward, between East Kip and Scald Law, in the Statistical Account in 1794 but removed for re-use in a dyke before 1852.

This was a rectangular stone, with a rectangular socket 0.33m by 0.25m and 0.23m deep.
