An evaluation was conducted in February 2015 for a new house and associated access, the site lying on the site of Duntrodden House (NMRS NG81NW 70). Work revealed no archaeological features or deposits to the area of the development site due to extensive disturbance associated with the construction of the former Duntrodden House in 1997.
