Around the surviving croft house at Cnoc-culphail are the remains of two other structures and a number of small enclosures. To the immediate east is a partially roofed building, 19.0m long and 8.0m wide. This building is fronted by a cobbled pathway and has a small circular structure, 1.0m in diameter, close to its eastern wall and a number of lean-to outhouses against its northern wall. To the north-west of the surviving croft house is a rebuilt croft house, 8.0m by 4.0 m, with walls 1.2m in height, which is in use as a sheep fank. This structure has probably been substantially rebuilt although the southern end appears original. The area between the structures and the northern limit of the croft has been partitioned by enclosure walls.

The current crofter, Mr MacFadyean, stated that he had substantially rebuilt the croft house, which is now a sheep fank.
