Scope and Content Craighall, stone circle, Perth and Kinross Situated on the edge of a terrace 100m north-east of the former saw mill at Craighall, are the remains of a four-poster stone circle. Photographed lying in snow, it is clear that all four stones have fallen and one has been broken into two pieces. A stone circle with four upright stones is known as a four-poster stone circle. Often located on a mound or terrace, four-poster stone circles vary in size and shape, and can be found in several areas of Scotland. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
