The building is built of smooth ashlar masonry with a decorative bracketed balustrade along the wall-head and architraved windows on the first floor. This shows a fireplace made from cast iron surrounded by a wooden frame, and with a tiled fender to the front. The grate has ledges for keeping vessels hot on each side of the fire.
