Scope and Content Stone circle at Lochbuie, Isle of Mull, Argyll and Bute The stone circle is situated on flat land just beyond Lochbuie House, at the head of the loch. It is one of the rare stone circles in the W of Scotland. This view shows the nine stones which make up the circle. One of these is actually a boulder as the original has been destroyed. The circle is associated with three outlying monoliths, one of which stands 3 m high. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
