Scope and Content Possible henge monument at Berryley, Moray The ditch of this possible henge was discovered as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs. The ditch is broken by an entrance causeway which faces towards the SE. The ditch of the possible henge can be seen as a dark penannular ring in the centre of this aerial photograph. A pit lies in the centre of the interior. The presence of the pit suggests an alternative interpretation of the cropmark. It may be a barrow. This possible henge has been levelled by ploughing and lies in a field on gently sloping ground. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
