Scope and Content Kinkell Bridge, Perthshire This is a four-span rubble-built road bridge, with segmental spans. There are triangular cutwaters. The bridge spans the river Earn. This view shows the bridge from the south east.. Note that the bridge has an almost level deck, and was clearly designed for wheeled traffic. This is one of a number of large road bridges built in central Perthshire in the second half of the 18th century, when road improvement was taking place hand in hand with agricultural change.
