Scope and Content Symbol stone known as the Boar Stone from Knocknagael, Inverness, Highland This symbol stone once stood in a field at Knocknagael Farm, just south of Inverness. In 1995 it was moved to Highland Council Headquarters in the city. The stone has two symbols carved on one side. At the centre is a well-carved boar which is similar in style to the Burghead Bulls or Ardross Wolf. A ridge of bristles run down its spine. Above this is a plain mirror-case symbol.
