Scope and Content Ford Mill, Langholm, Dumfriesshire This tweed mill was built on the late 19th century plan, all single storey. This view shows the mill from the north west. The former engine-house for the steam engine that drove the mill is at the bottom of the chimney, with the boiler-house immediately to the left. This mill is still in use.
