Scope and Content Partickhill Station, Glasgow This station was opened in 1887 by the North British Railway, but it was completely rebuilt in 1958 for the electrification of the Glasgow North Side suburban railways. This view shows the station as rebuilt in 1958, with one of the standard footbridges constructed for the north side electrification by P & W MacLellan, and one of the electric trains built by the Pressed Steel Company for the scheme.
