Scope and Content Wyllie's Mill, Drummore, Wigtownshire This was a large corn mill, 3-storey, 4 by 8 bay, built of brick and cement-rendered. It had a small all-iron high-breast water wheel, 0.61 by 2.44m, which probably drove auxiliary machinery This view shows the waterwheel, illustrating its unusual construction, with many circular-section spokes This mill probably processed material imported through the nearby harbour Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
