Scope and Content Broch at Dun Telve, Glenelg, Lochalsh, Highland The broch at Dun Telve is one of the most impressive there is. About one third of the walls still stand to over 10 m high. A number of stone lamps, quernstones and whorls were found in 1914 when the broch was cleared out. This view of the broch shows the entrance. It leads into an entrance passage which still has one door check and the bar-hole. The passage has one guard cell which is on the right side. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
