Scope and Content Ettrick Mill, Dunsdale Road, Selkirk, Selkirkshire This was built as a spinning mill, but later developed into an integrated tweed mill. This view shows the street side of the mill, The gable ends of the main U-plan range can be seen on the left. On the right are large blocks of single-storey weaving sheds. This mill was built before the railway reached Selkirk It was the largest and one of the finest of the Borders textile mills. The weaving-sheds seen here were probably the most substantial in the Borders. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
