Scope and Content Ettrick Mill, Dunsdale Road, Selkirk, Selkirkshire This was built as a spinning mill, but later developed into an integrated tweed mill. This view shows the railway side of the main u-plan range of the mill, This was built in sections between 1836 and 1850. This mill was built before the railway reached Selkirk. It was the largest and one of the finest of the Borders textile mills. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
