Scope and Content Former Innerleithen Station, Traquhair Road, Innerleithen, Peebles-shire This station was opened by the North British Railway as part of its line from Peebles to Galashiels. This view shows the L-plan station building, with agent's house on the first floor, and the wood and iron platform shelter. When this photograph was taken the whole building had become a house. This style of building was favoured by several Scottish railway companies from the 1840s to the 1860s. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
