Scope and Content Aerial view of Tarbat Old Parish Church, Tarbatness Road, Portmahomack, Highland Tarbat Old Parish Church was built in 1756 on medieval foundations. The church is the T-plan building in the centre of this aerial view. It stands in a graveyard containing 18th-century monuments, where Early Christian monuments have been discovered.
