Scope and Content Traces of original entrance, Pittenweem Parish Church, High Street, Pittenweem, Fife Pittenweem Parish Church existed by the 13th century when it passed to the new Augustinian priory. The tower, built in 1588, was originally the burgh tolbooth. A north block was added in 1882. The curving stonework below the left-hand monument is the remains of the arch of the original 13th-century north entrance to the church. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
