Scope and Content Isometric drawing, Falkland House, Fife Falkland House was built as Nuthill House in 1839-44 by William Burn for Onesiphorus Tyndall-Bruce whose wife inherited the Falkland estate. The interior was remodelled by R W Schultz for the Marquis of Bute who had purchased the property in 1887. This isometric view shows the main block looking towards the south-east corner. The important rooms were on the ground floor. The south end (left) contained a drawing room and library. The dining room took up most of the east side (right). Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
