Scope and Content Craigend, hut-circles and field-system, Perth and Kinross Several groups of prehistoric hut-circles and field-systems survive on a ridge of open moorland which extends from Craigend to Seefar. About 350m north east of Craigend and to the north of a cattle-grid is a group of four hut-circles. The circular stone outlines of two of the hut-circles can be seen to the right of the gate. A bank of stone links this hut-circle to one in the foreground. The occupants of these hut-circles were farmers and cultivated the surrounding land. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
