Scope and Content Album containing photographs from Aberdeenshire, including castles, bridges, churches and topographic views. Presentation Album in red leather embossed with gilt. Titled (first page) 'Presented to Mrs Foster Forbes of Rothiemay by the Members and Associates of the Turriff Branch of the Onward and Upward Association on the occasion of her leaving Dunlugas as a mark of esteem and grateful appreciation of her unwearied efforts to promote the objects of the Association. April 1892', with a list of subscribers included. It includes 34 albumen prints of Ardmiddle House, Craigston Castle, Delgatie Castle, Auldtown of Netherdale, Hatton Castle, Forglen House, Duff House, Gardenstown, Dunlugas House, Saint Congan's Church, Fyvie Castle, Muiresk House and Forglen Castle as well as buildings and bridges, some unidentified, in and around Turriff. The photographs are not dated and the photographer is unknown. Presented to NMRS by Christies South Kensington 1988. c.f.PA4 Innes of Cowie Album.
