Scope and Content Front of Hunter Hospital, Hunter Street, Kirkcaldy, Fife Hunter Hospital, originally St Brycedale House, was built in 1786 for George Heggie. It was converted to a hospital in 1936 when wings were added in almost, but not quite, the same style. The house has semicircular bows at the front and back forming an oval first-floor room.
